SWAT Training Planned In Lower Pottsgrove This Week
Residents should not be alarmed if they see SWAT teams in Lower Pottsgrove this week.

LOWER POTTSGROVE, PA — Residents should not be alarmed if they see SWAT teams in Lower Pottsgrove this week.
The Montgomery County SWAT - Western Region will be conducting a training exercise on the 200 block of Evergreen Road in the township.
Training will be occurring on Tuesday or Wednesday - and possibly both days - from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

SWAT units will use simunition weapons - non-lethal training weapons - and will not use any live ammunition.
The exercises may include stun grenades, paintball style guns, and smoke grenades. They will all occur at an abandoned property.
