Take Out Driver Robbed At Gunpoint In Lower Pottsgrove: Cops

The suspect demanded both money and food from the delivery driver, police said.

LOWER POTTSGROVE, PA — An armed robber demanded both money and food from a delivery driver in Lower Pottsgrove this week, police said, in the second such incident in the area.

The incident occurred at around 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 31 on the 3800 block of Walnut Ridge Estates.

When the delivery driver arrived at her destination, she met a man armed with a handgun who told her to hand over all the cash on her as well as the food, according to authorities.

The suspect then walked away, and the victim fled the area and called police.

The suspect is described as a black man in his mid-30s, standing about 5 feet, 6 inches tall with scruffy facial hair.

A similar incident occurred later that night at around 11:15 p.m. in the Rolling Hills area.

Delivery drivers are urged to exercise caution in the area, especially with new customers.
