Two Local Actors to Perform in "The Wizard Of Oz"
Pottstown students Riley Keenan and Olivia Reitz welcome you to Munchkinland
This holiday season, young talent from Pottstown will take the stage at Philadelphia’s most popular theatre company. Walnut Street Theatre’s production of the all-time classic musical, The Wizard Of Oz, celebrated its opening last week and continues through January 8th.
Pottstown area students Riley Keenan and Olivia Reitz. Keenan play Munchkins in the production. Keenan, a 7th-grader at Owen J. Roberts Middle School, is scheduled to appear in all weekday performances. Reitz, who attends North Coventry Elementary School, performs on weekends. Both Keenan and Reitz have previously appeared in productions at Pottstown's Steel River Playhouse before being cast in The Wizard Of Oz.
Keenan and Reitz, along with their 28 Munchkin cast-mates, are all members of The Theatre School at Walnut Street Theatre.

On stage, The Wizard Of Oz features all of the Oscar-winning songs from the movie including "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "We're Off To See The Wizard," all the favorite characters and iconic moments, plus a few surprises along the way.
