U.S. Sen. Candidate Lou Barletta Coming To Pottstown This Week

POTTSTOWN, PA — Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania Lou Barletta will be in Pottstown on Thursday morning for a campaign event.

The "Breakfast with Barletta" event will take place on Thursday, Nov. 1 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Potts and Penn Family Diner.

Barletta, a state representative in the 11th District who drew widespread attention in 2010 as the mayor of Hazleton for an anti-immigration ordinance, is challening incumbent Democrat U.S. Sen. Bob Casey for the seat.

Cook Political Report calls the race "likely Democratic." Casey leads an average of polls by 16 points, per RealClearPolitics.

The diner event Thursday is free to attend, but breakfast will not be provided. To register, see here.
