Walk/Bike Pottstown Project Begins Monday
A roughly six-month project to improve the walkability and bike-ability of Pottstown got underway on Monday.

POTTSTOWN, PA — A roughly six-month project to improve the walkability and bike-ability of Pottstown got underway on Monday.
The borough's Parks and Recreation Department said Monday that construction on the Walk/Bike Pottstown project had begun.
Signs, similar to the one pictured above, have been posted throughout the area where construction is underway.

Construction was launched near the intersections of High and Roland streets and Jackson and Adams streets only on Monday. Work will add pedestrian and cycling paths to several borough streets.
Very minimal traffic impacts, if any, are expected, officials said.

The borough estimated that the project would be completed by the spring or summer of 2018.
