Woman Killed In Her Bedroom During Pottstown Home Invasion: DA

POTTSTOWN, PA -- One woman is dead after being shot inside her bedroom Sunday during an apparent home invasion robbery, authorities said.

The incident occurred on the 300 block of North Washington Street at around 6:45 p.m. last night, Nov. 18.

The victim, Sylvia Williams, 38, was found dead in her bedroom, which was on the second floor, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.

An autopsy will be performed by the Montgomery County Coroner's Office Monday.

The investigation remains underway. No arrests have been announced.
