Woman Killed In Pottstown Collision Tuesday Night
The Montco D.A.'s Office is preparing a statement related to a fatal accident in Pottstown Tuesday night, police said.
POTTSTOWN, PA — A collision Tuesday night in Pottstown left a woman dead and the District Attorney's Office is preparing a response to what witnesses described as reckless driving.
The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office is preparing a statement related to the fatal head-on collision, a Pottstown Police Department Lieutenant said.
Police reported witnesses described seeing the man in the other car speeding around town and running stop signs before the wreck around 10:15 p.m. in the 700 block of Queen Street. Nicole Benzenhafer, 35, died at Reading Hospital after the SUV she was driving was struck and pushed onto a sidewalk, WFMZ reported.
