EXETER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) – A young pilot is being hailed a hero after the small plane he was piloting made an emergency landing on a Berks County Road. Police say the pilot on the Cessna landed on Route 422 in Exeter Township Monday night after the plane’s engine failed.

The pilot and his two passengers were not hurt. Police say the plane hit one car, causing minor damage, but no injuries.
