09-24-13 Radnor Township School District (RTSD) Board Meeting, Part 3 of 3. In this segment: Presentation (continued): Additional Supports & Services for 2013-14. Item 17. Recommendation to approve Engineering for Radnor High School Traffic Improvements. The District has been working closely with Radnor Township to facilitate the installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of Raider Road and Radnor Chester Road. The District has also been working on conceptual designs for improving traffic flow internal to the high school campus. The timing of this planning is beneficial in that Radnor Township has agreed to pay for the traffic signal, if our work can align. Engineering proposals for the necessary offsite work, including the highway occupancy permitting (HOP) and the internal site modifications were acquired from two engineering firms. Traffic Planning and Design, Inc. of Pottstown, PA has proposed to complete all offsite design and HOP work at a cost of $89,000. Gilmore & Associates of New Britain, PA has proposed to complete all on site design and construction oversight at a cost of $130,880.
