10 Radnor High School Grads Joining Hall Of Fame Nov 10

A former New York Knicks player, a films producer, and a retired Chief of Civil Engineers for the U.S. Navy are among the new inductees.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA – Ten distinguished Radnor High School alumni will be inducted into the Radnor High School Hall of Fame in November as the seventh Hall of Fame class. Notable grads joining the Hall of Fame include a retired Chief of Civil Engineers for the U.S. Navy, a former player for the New York Knicks, and a producer of feature films such as "Valkyrie" and "Kong: Skull Island."

A Hall of Fame induction lunch banquet is set for 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10 at St. Davids Golf Club in Wayne.

The class with be the seventh to be inducted into the Radnor High School Hall of Fame, joining 60 other outstanding RHS graduates inducted since 2003.

Prior to the luncheon on Nov. 9, this year's inductees will visit their alma mater to conduct "master classes" with Radnor High School students.

  • news reporter David H. Breimhurst, Class of 1970;
  • artist Charles Cajori, Class of 1939;
  • scientist Sherret S. Chase, Ph.D., Class of 1935;
  • filmmaker and producer Alejandro J. "Alex" Garcia, Class of 1995;
  • educator and community activist Charles C. Gray, Jr., Class of 1961;
  • athlete Pixie Hamilton, Class of 1975;
  • federal judge Robert F. Kelly, Class of 1953;
  • athlete and coach Douglas C. Kistler, Class of 1956;
  • Rear Admiral Christopher J. Mossey, Class of 1977;
  • and athlete Catherine W. "Katie" Samson, Class of 1998.

These inductees are anticipated to attend the ceremony.

The public is invited to attend the induction ceremony. Tickets are $45 for individuals ages 12 and up and $20 for children under 12.
