15 Charged In Delco Cocaine Trafficking Ring: State Police

Fifteen people have been charged in connection with a cocaine trafficking ring in Delaware County, State Police announced Friday.

Fifteen people have been charged in connection with a cocaine trafficking ring in Delaware County, Pennsylvania State Police announced Friday.

Authorities have seized two kilograms of cocaine, a bullet proof vest, ammunition, $40,000 in cash and paraphernalia from Chester City residences occupied by alleged members of the ring, State Police said.

Pennsylvania State Police, Chester City Police Department and the Delaware County District Attorney’s office have been investigating the ring since early 2015.

In late 2015, several search warrants were served on residences in Chester City and surrounding communities. That's when the drugs, weapons and cash were seized, police said.

The following individuals were charged with various offenses related to drug possession and possession with intent to deliver narcotics, according to State Police.

The case will be prosecuted by the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office.

In the first quarter of 2016, the Pennsylvania State Police said it seized about 110 pounds of cocaine with an estimated street value of nearly $4.8 million.
