2 Officers Sworn Into Radnor Police Department

Welcome to the township, officers Ryan Collins and Kyle Hand!

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA – Two new officers were sworn into the Radnor Township Police Department at the township's Board of Commissioners meeting on Monday, Sept. 11.

Ryan E. Collins and Kyle J. Hand were officially sworn in at the meeting by Judge Leon Hunter.

Collins and Hand were joined by their families during the ceremony.

Radnor Township Police Superintendent William Colarulo said it was fitting to welcome them to the department on the 16th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

He said township manager Robert Zienkowski wanted to swear Collins and Hand in on Sept. 11.

"Twenty percent of our population in this country wasn't even born yet when 9/11 occurred, only 5 percent is still around form Pearl Harbor," Colarulo said. "I'm confident when you have officers like Officer Hand and Officer Collins coming on this job that when I'm long gone, they'll be carrying the torch and there will be many to come after them."
