2 Pennsylvania Restaurants Ranked Among Most Romantic In U.S.

If you're planning ahead for Valentine’s Day, look no further than Pennsylvania. Two of the country's most romantic restaurants are here, according to one new ranking.

The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm in Buckingham Township and Arielle's Country Inn in Sellersville have been included in OpenTable’s list of 100 Most Romantic Restaurants In America. Both restaurants are located in Bucks County.

The list was created using the opinions of more than 10 million restaurant reviews submitted by verified OpenTable diners for more than 24,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

According to OpenTable, the list is dotted with restaurants located on picturesque properties and eateries showcasing cozy dining rooms with incredible ambiance.

"These winning restaurants understand that sharing a delicious meal is a universal rite of courtship at any stage of a relationship," said Caroline Potter, OpenTable chief dining officer. "Whether diners are out celebrating Valentine's Day or simply connecting over a flirty dinner, this year's honorees excel at setting the table for romance."

Numerous recent customers left feedback on OpenTable that reflected the rankings of the local restaurants.

"Our party of five enjoyed the ambiance of an our country inn, outstanding food and excellent service. We went on the recommendation of a friend who frequently dines there for special occasions. Would highly recommend," a recent reviewer said of Arielle's Country Inn.

"Beautiful location, gracious service, outstanding food and calming classical music," another Arielle's reviewer said.

A recent review of the Inn at Barley Sheaf said the restaurant has "terrific food and interesting menu" with a "charming, lovely atmosphere."

Another Inn at Barley Sheaf reviewer said "We went for brunch to celebrate our anniversary. The food was delicious and plentiful! The atmosphere and service were lovely! We really enjoyed our meal and would recommend it to family and friends."
