2 Stabbings At Center City Wawa In 3 Days: Police
After a man was stabbed at the Wawa on South Broad Street Thursday, police said a stabbing occurred on Tuesday at the same location.
PHILADELPHIA – The same Center City Wawa where a man was stabbed Thursday was the site of a stabbing on Tuesday, June 5, according to Philadelphia Police.
Police said a 22-year-old woman was stabbed three times by the woman seen above inside the Wawa at 201 S. Broad St. at about 12:28 a.m. on Tuesday, just two days before a man was stabbed in the same location.
Police said the victim and a friend were leaving the store when the victim got into an argument with a woman.

The victim started walking away then the woman stabbed her twice in the shoulder and slashed the back of her neck, police said.
Police said the victim fled with the suspect chasing her. The suspect was last seen hearing north on 13th Street, police said.

The victim was taken to Thomas Jefferson Hospital where she was listed in stable condition.
Police describe the suspect as a black woman 20 to 25 years old, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds. She was wearing a long-sleeve gray shirt, blue jeans, and a black head scarf, police said.
