2 Wayne Businesses Burglarized June 1: Police

Police said in the early morning hours of June 1, two Lancaster Avenue businesses were broken into. Only one business had anything stolen.

WAYNE, PA – Two Radnor Township businesses were burglarized in the early morning hours of Friday, June 1, according to police.

Between 3:45 a.m. and 4 a.m. Friday, June 1, two people broke into the Lancaster Avenue Five Guys and So Fun Frozen Yogurt, police said.

Police said security footage showed two people force open the back door of Five Guys, then force open the manager's officer door.

The suspects tried to take a safe but were unable to move it, so they fled out the back door, police said.

They then went two doors down to So Fun and forced its back door open, according to police.

Once inside, the two suspects stole a safe from the manager's office.

Police said the only description they were able to obtain was that the suspects were wearing all black clothing.

Radnor Police are working with other area law enforcement agencies in the tri-state area as they believe these burglaries may be tied to others in the area.
