2019 SAT Scores Released: See How Delco High Schools Fared
Which Delaware County high schools had the highest SAT scores and which had the lowest in 2019? Find out here.
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Education Friday released SAT scores from school district across the Keystone State. And we are going to take a look at how Delaware County's school district fared in the 2019 scores.
Of the 15 public school districts in Delaware County, Radnor High School had the highest composite average score with 1305.4 overall. RHS had a 666.4 math score and an evidence-based reading and writing score of 639.
Strath Haven High School in the Wallingford-Strathmore School District had the second-highest composite average score, with 1227.1.

The weakest composite average score was at Chester High School in the Chester Upland School District. Its score was 804.
The highest-scoring school in the state was Julia R. Masterman in Philadelphia, where the average score was 1402.9.

SAT scores range from 400 to 1600, with the evidence-based reading and writing and math sections worth 200 to 800 points each. SAT essay scores range from 2 to 8.
According to the Princeton Review, the average score in 2018 was 1068.
