235 Former, Current RHS Students Named AP Scholars

These stellar students were designated National AP Scholars, AP Scholars with Distinction, AP Scholars with Honors, and AP Scholars.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — More than 230 current and former Radnor High School students were recently named AP Scholars, the Radnor Township School District said.

Two hundred and thirty-five former and current Radnor High School students were designated National AP Scholars, AP Scholars with Distinction, AP Scholars with Honors, or AP Scholars.

Those designees who were not members of the Class of 2018 were invited to celebrate their achievement with their AP teachers and RHS administrators at a reception in the school's Library on March 7.

Nineteen RHS former and current students were named National AP Scholars, a designation granted to students in the United States who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams. Each of these students also received an AP Scholar with Distinction designation, granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.

Ninety-one other RHS former and current students also earned an AP Scholar with Distinction designation. Fifty-five former and current students earned an AP Scholar with Honor designation, granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.

Sixty-eight current and former students earned an AP Scholar designation, granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more of AP Exams.
