3 Wayne Apartments Burglarized Wednesday During Daytime
Radnor Police said at least two units at Sheldrake Arms Apartments and one at Wayne House Apartments were burglarized during the day.
WAYNE, PA — Radnor Police said at least three residential burglaries occurred in the Wayne section of the Township during the daytime Wednesday.
According to police, two units at the Sheldrake Arms Apartments and one at the Wayne House Apartments were burglarized Wednesday, Oct. 9.
At the Wayne House Apartments on the 100 block of Windermere Avenue, a unit was forcibly entered sometime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The resident came home and found the front door had been forced open with what was possibly a pry bar, police said.
After getting in the unit, the burglar ransacked the unit and stole numerous pieces of jewelry, police said.

At Sheldrake Arms Apartments, at least two units were broken into sometime Wednesday.
Police said the burglaries occurred at 12:50 p.m. and 1 p.m.
A witness told police he saw observe two men attempting to force open a door to an apartment, police said.
The witness confronted the men, and they left the area on foot.
Police said the men getting into a green pickup truck, possibly a Ford Ranger, and speed out of the parking lot heading west on Lancaster Avenue.
Police later learned that at least two units were broken into in the apartment complex.
In one break-in, numerous items of jewelry and electronics were stolen.
One of the men was described as a short black man in his 50s who was wearing a green army-type jacket. The other man was described as a taller black man in his 30s who was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.
