3 New Officers Sworn In To Radnor Township Police Department
Brian Brown, Christopher Linvill, and James Williams are the three newest members of the Radnor Township police force.
RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — The Radnor Township Police Department recently welcomed three new members to its ranks.
Judge David Lang swore in Brian Brown, Christopher Linvill, and James Williams to the RTPD Tuesday.
"Congratulations to the newest members of the department as they begin their rigorous training," Radnor Township Police Superintendent Christopher Flanagan said. "All of us at the Radnor Police Department look forward to working with the new officers and wish them all the best as they begin this next step in their careers."

Since June 2021, Brown worked as a patrol officer for the Upper Darby Police Department. He participated in various community events on behalf of UDPD.
Linvill holds a bachelor's degree from Temple University in communications and journalism.

Since December 2020, he served as an officer with the Philadelphia Police Department and was assigned to the bicycle unit responsible for patrolling the “K and A” section of the city.
Since June 2017, Williams served with the Sharon Hill Police Department and achieved full time status in November 2022.
He was assigned to the Traffic Unit at SHPD and previously worked as a School Resource Officer and in the Bike Patrol Unit.
"These recruits are the cream of the crop. They are the top three of the candidates we considered," said Superintendent Flanagan. "The background checks we perform are detailed. To just pass, it says a lot about these officers."
Brown, Linvill, and Williams began their tenure with the department Wednesday morning, starting their 16-week Field Training Officer program.
Afterward, they will be assigned to the RPD Patrol Division.
