Radnor Middle School building technology resource professional Nancy Holshue, Radnor Elementary School 5th-grade teacher Andrew Mancini and Radnor Elementary School learning support teacher Les Sabulsky will be honored for going out of their way through their work, support or friendship to be accepting, understanding and inclusive of children of all abilities, the district said.

The awards are presented by the Delaware County Right to Education Task Force. The ceremony is April 28 from 6-8 p.m. at Ridley High School.

Holshue will receive an individual Making a Difference Award. She was nominated by building maintenance worker and 2014 Making a Difference Award recipient Matt Ryan.

Holshue "is a bright light in our school for kids on the fringe, who are hard to reach, and who may feel they don't fit in," said Ryan in his nomination.

In addition to her duties at Radnor Middle School, Ms. Holshue is also the faculty sponsor for both the Radnor High School Microsoft Authorized Refurbishers Club and Radnor Middle School Video Club.

Mancini and Sabulsky will receive a group Making a Difference Award in the "Dream Team" category. They were nominated by a Radnor Elementary School parent, who wished to remain anonymous.

"During this school year, Mr. Mancini and Mr. Sabulsky have completely turned the school experience around for one of their students," read the nomination. "They have helped this child achieve new social and academic levels...and made this an entirely different kind of school year for him."
