43rd Annual Fine Art Show and Sale
The Academy of Notre Dame to hold 43rd Annual Fine Art Show and Sale Show Dates: January 29-February 6, 2016
The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in Villanova, PA, is holding its 43rd Annual Fine Art Show and Sale from Friday, January 29 - Saturday, February 6, 2016. The exhibition and sale will open with a catered preview reception with the artists on Friday, January 29, 2016, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. in the Academy Mansion, located at 560 Sproul Road in Villanova, PA. Chairing the Art Show this year is Denick Herrin.
The public is cordially invited to attend both the catered reception and the weeklong exhibit. The fine art show will be on display from noon to 4:00 p.m. daily beginning Saturday, January 30 through Saturday, February 6, 2016. The exhibition features nearly 100 artists’ works in a variety of mediums, including oils, watercolors, acrylics, sculptures, ceramics, and glass.
Tickets to the preview reception are $45 in advance and $50 at the door. Advance registration for the reception is encouraged by January 16, 2016. The weeklong exhibit is free of charge and open to the public from Saturday, January 30 through Saturday, February 6, 2016. This year’s featured artist is Tim Kelly, Baltimore, MD resident. Tim’s primary medium is oil on panel and Plein Air Landscapes. He has enjoyed numerous opportunities as a juried artist in regional art shows. In 2015 Tim received the Best in Show at MAPAPA’s cityscape exhibition and 2nd place in the Wayne Plein Air Festival. Bensen, Rachel Brown, Wendy Wolfinger Coleman, Kathryn Young Deaville, Shawn Faust, Lolly Grilli, Nell Hazinski, Victoria Kavalerov, Liz Kinder, Nancy Kress, Danny Laffey, Andy Lendway, Joanne Mark, Lee Muslin, Betsy Naumchick, Marcia Reiver, Denise Sedor, Helge Speth, and Anna Marie Zabielski.
