5th Annual Dan’s Down Dog And Dash Set For Oct. 14

The event is perfect for people of all athletic levels and instills the importance community, as well as mental and physical fitness.

WAYNE, PA – The fifth annual Dan's Down Dog and Dash Yoga, 5k and Fun Run event is all set for Oct. 14 and will raise money for two honorable causes, while emphasizing the importance of surrounding yourself with a wonderful community, remaining mentally fit, and maintaining physical activity in honor of the late Dan Schultz.

This year's event will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14 at St. Katherine of Siena, 116 S. Aberdeen Ave., Wayne.

Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. Yoga, led by Kristin Page, will behind at 8 a.m. The 5k will step off at 9 a.m.

Attendees do not need to being their own yoga mats.

Registration costs $35 for adults and $25 for participants under 18 years old. Register online here.

Proceeds will benefit For Pete’s Sake, the Schultz Kids Education Fund, as well as other organizations and causes in the area, organizers said.

Annie Sears will be honored with The Dan Schultz Live Life To The Fullest Honoree award at the event. Annie overcame several serious health issues. Learn more about her journey here.
