9/27 Pianist Yoonie Han launches Tri-County's 75th Season
Join us for an afternoon of delights: Yoonie Han is "a simply phenomenal player! Absolutely stunning!" (Helsinki Post)
International award-winning pianist Yoonie Han, a Curtis and Juilliard graduate, makes a rare appearance in our area. She’ll highlight her love of Spanish music and art with the stunning Goyescas Op. 11, plus composer Wiprud’s take on the acceleration and crescendo of flamenco dance, captured in John Singer Sargent’s painting El Jaleo. She rounds out the program with Gershwin’s “musical kaleidoscope of America,” Rhapsody in Blue.
