9th Annual Radnor Elementary SMART Run 5K Set For May 20
The run promotes a healthy lifestyle for families and raises funds to support educational and extracurricular opportunities at the school.

WAYNE, PA – The ninth Annual Radnor Elementary School SMART Run 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run is all set for Saturday, May 20 and you can sign up now to help promote a healthy lifestyle for families and raises funds to support educational and extracurricular opportunities at the school.
The event will being at 8:30 a.m. with the fun run. The 5K begins at 9 a.m. Awards will be presented at 9:45 a.m.
Registration cost $10 for those 18 and under, $25 for adults, and $60 for a family. Fee increase on race day.

About 500 runners participated in the 8th run, and even more are expected this year.

The race course begins and ends on the RES playground and runs through the adjacent St. David's neighborhood that.
The event will feature music, carnival games, and opportunities to support local charities such as Alex's Lemonade Stand and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
The run began as a fundraiser for RES families, but has grown into a fun-filled event for the entire community, attracting hundreds of participants every year.
The goal of the RES SMART Run is to promote a healthy lifestyle for families and raise funds to support educational and extracurricular opportunities, including cultural arts programs, classroom technology and service activities at RES.
