This year’s featured artist is Philadelphia area resident, Liz Finley. Liz is known for her rich, colorful seascapes and landscapes of Philadelphia and its surroundings, and for interesting takes on the still life. A strong sense of composition and subject knowledge combines with a lively, creative color scheme to produce vibrant images that are realistic with a lean towards impressionistic.

Liz was honored in 2014 by being invited to participate in a two-person Seascape show at Accent Gallery in Ocean City, New Jersey. Her work is regularly displayed at juried shows at the Philadelphia Sketch Club, Wayne Art Center, Main Line Art Center, Chester County Art Center, the Devon Horse Show Sale, Delaware Valley Art League, and the Notre Dame Academy Art Show, and has received recognition through prizes awarded at several shows. A variety of recent paintings can be viewed on her website at www.lizfinley.com.
