A bus driver has been suspended from his Lower Merion route because he was hugging students and using nicknames for them, according to a report by Main Line Media News.
Parents reported the driver’s behavior as inappropriate in March and he was suspended, the report states.
Police investigated and found that nothing criminal took place, according to the report.

The initial complaint came from a parent of a Bala Cynwyd Middle School student, the report states.
The driver will now have to undergo retraining, according to the report.
