Alleged Wawa Candy Thief Busted: Radnor Police
Police said James Clark, of Philadelphia, was arrested by Haverford Police in an unrelated theft incident, Radnor Police said.

WAYNE, PA — Radnor Police said the man accused of stealing a large amount of candy from a Wayne Wawa store has been arrested in connection with a separate theft incident.
According to police, James Clark, 31, of Philadelphia, was arrested by Haverford Township Police.
Court records show Clark was arrested March 16 after a Haverford Police officer saw Clark allegedly committing another theft.

Clark is accused of stealing three bulk boxes of candy that were on display at the Wawa at 151 Sugartown Road on March 9.
Clark has three active court cases out of Delaware County, all of which were filed in March. There are five inactive criminal cases filed against Clark, also filed in March.

Charges filed against Clark by Haverford, Morton, Upper Chichester, Tinicum, Prospect Park, and Glenolden police include felony retail theft, receiving stolen property, giving false identification to police, drug possession, and paraphernalia possession, court records show.
Clark was remanded to the George W. Hill Correctional Facility after failing to post 10 percent of $20,000 bail set at his March 16 preliminary arraignment.
He is slated for a March 28 preliminary hearing.
