RADNOR, PA — Radnor Township's fireworks display for the 250th anniversary of the United States will take place July 2 at Radnor High School, officials said.
This will be the first time in eight years that the township has held an Independence Day fireworks event.
It also marks a return to Radnor High School — the venue for the Radnor High School Scholarship Fund's annual July 4 fireworks shows, before they were discontinued in 2019 due to the fundraiser no longer making money.
The event will kick off Radnor's America250 festivities during Fourth of July weekend, township spokesperson Molly Gallagher said at Monday's Board of Commissioners meeting.
A time has not been announced for the free event. But more details about Radnor's upcoming America250 activities will be shared in the near future, Gallagher said.
The Garrett Hill-Rosemont 4th of July Parade, a Radnor Township tradition, will also take place this year.
