The rooftop bar and lounge sits atop The Brandywine, a new Tribute Portfolio hotel at 165 King of Prussia Road.

Leading the kitchen is Executive Chef Michael Davies, a Philadelphia-area talent whose culinary résumé includes Memphis Taproom, Cheu Fishtown, Pumpkin and, most recently, The Settlers Inn in northeastern Pennsylvania.

The menu focuses on seasonal, shareable dishes. Diners can choose from raw bar offerings such as oysters, shrimp cocktail with tomato jam, and scallop crudo with charred grapefruit.

Smaller plates include calamari, deviled eggs and tenderloin skewers. Larger entrées include a Pomelo Smash Burger, Rockfish and Chips, Grilled Branzino and a Lion's Mane Mushroom Cake.

The cocktail menu emphasizes botanical flavors with gin-based drinks, spritzes and zero-proof options.

Weekend brunch is scheduled to launch Aug. 22.

Pomelo accommodates 136 guests, with 74 indoor seats and 62 outdoor seats that include lounge areas, dining tables and a fire pit. The space will also be available for private events and plans to host local artisans, retailers, authors, farms and beverage companies.

The Brandywine now sports multiple restaurants, with Merrick's Tavern debuting in May. Read more: New Main Line Restaurant Features Modern American Classics, Extensive Bar
