RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Drivers in Radnor Township should prepare for increased traffic and road closures this week as Villanova University welcomes students back to campus for the fall semester.
Student move-in at Villanova's Main Campus begins Wednesday and is expected to bring more traffic and pedestrian activity to the surrounding area, according to Radnor Township officials.
Drivers should expect delays and closures Wednesday on the following roads:
This year's move-in also marks a new chapter for Villanova with the opening of the university's Cabrini Campus. Student move-in at that campus is scheduled to begin Friday.
Traffic and activity around the Main Campus are expected to remain heavy into the weekend. The university is scheduled to host several major events from Friday through Sunday.
Township officials advised residents to plan for additional travel time and remain alert for students and other pedestrians around the campuses.
The Radnor Township Police Department will be on-location to help manage traffic.
The fall semester at Villanova begins next week.
