Football: Harriton decision puts rest of Central League in a bind (centredaily.com) — Radnor High School's football team suddenly has an unwanted bye this week after Harriton canceled its varsity season over safety and participation concerns, disrupting the entire Central League schedule. The change leaves Radnor and other teams scrambling to fill open dates and wondering how potential forfeits might affect crucial District 1 playoff points and seeding later this fall.
• PennDOT, Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Announce 30 'Young Ambassadors' to Promote Environmental Sustainability (pennwatch.org) — Radnor residents can cheer on Nadia Dougherty of Radnor High School, who has been named one of 30 Young Ambassadors helping PennDOT and Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful fight litter statewide this year. From now through May, she'll receive leadership training, environmental education, and chances to work with sustainability professionals while promoting cleaner, greener communities, including right here at home.
