Radnor-based ECON partners, inc. secured $3,798,877 in Statewide Local Share Account (LSA) grants for 11 client projects across Pennsylvania in the Commonwealth Financing Authority's September 15th award round.
The awards include funding for a variety of capital projects throughout southeastern PA including:
·Variety, the Children's Charity of the Delaware Valley — $350,000 for campus-wide electrical system upgrades
·Bensalem Township — $98,982 to purchase and install a Plymovent system to help protect firefighters in its newly constructed vehicle storage building
·City of Coatesville — $100,000 toward the purchase of a firefighting ladder truck.
·Elwyn — $40,000 for a Memorial Garden honoring individuals who received care at Elwyn, including those who passed away during the COVID-19 pandemic
·Delaware County Redevelopment Authority — $1 million for the activation of the Taylor Hospital Emergency Department
·Borough of Parkesburg — $100,000 to construct a new Public Works Garage
·Borough of Wyomissing — $250,000 for interior and exterior renovations to the Wyomissing Fire Station
·Borough of Oxford and Union Fire Company — $795,000 for a new fire engine
·CareLink — $166,416 to remove and replace 60 inefficient windows at the Torrey House
·Glen Foerd — $398,479 for critical infrastructure and structural improvements to its historic mansion
·Delaware County Community College — $500,000 to replace the HVAC/chiller plant at its Marple campus

Pennsylvania's Statewide Local Share Account program distributes a portion of gaming revenue through the Commonwealth Financing Authority to support projects that improve quality of life.
