Support RHS Softball Teams' Historic Season And Get a Free Car Wash Saturday

Radnor High School's Varsity Softball Team is closing out an historic season in which they have gone undefeated with an 18-0 record, and clinched the Central League title for the first time since 1984.  In addition, the JV Team is 15-3 so far, making 2012 the winningest season in a very long time for RHS Softball.  Both teams have two home games left:  Thursday, 5/10, at 3:45 vs. Penncrest, and a night game at 7 pm, Monday, 5/14, vs. Springfield.  District playoffs begin the week of 5/21.   Come join our proud community in cheering them on!  The Varsity Team includes:  Ali Birtwistle, Morgan Campbell, Kyla Crombie Taylor Furey, Jamie Gorson, Michelle Gorson, Bari Margolis, Blake Massaro, Becky Maz, Holly Pachella, Alexa Royle, Isabel Schaefer and Christy Von Pusch, and is coached by Jessica Verguldi-Scott.  The JV Team includes Caitlin Connor, Hope Edkins, Lauren Furey, Erika Hanks, Lucy Johnston, Claire Kirby, Grace Mannix, Jordyn Margolis, Brooke McClatchy, Kelsey McCue, Emily Melvin, Michaela Parrish and Anna Russo and is coached by Gary Rathsmill.

 

You can show your support for all the girls this Saturday, MAY 12th, at a free CAR WASH (donations welcome!!!) at Radnor High School from 10 am to 2 pm.  The girls promise to wash as well as they play, so bring on the dirt!
