Armed Robber Hits Delaware County Nail Salon

A man came into the salon, forced workers and customers into the back, stole an unknown amount of cash and then fled in a gold or tan car.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — A Delaware County nail salon was robbed at gunpoint recently and police are asking for help finding the suspect.

According to authorities, Glenolden Police were called to Fashion Nail at about 7 p.m. at 26 S. MacDade Boulevard for a robbery in progress.

Police learned a man wearing all black and sunglasses came into the businesses armed with a gun.

He forced customers and employees into a back room and left with an unknown amount of cash, police said.

According to police, the man fled in a gold or tan sedan, possibly a Toyota model, heading south on MacDade Boulevard toward South Avenue, police said.
