Arrest Made In Radnor Armed Scooter Theft: Police

Police said Samuel L. Jackson is charged with terroristic threats, gun crimes, simple assault and more in relation to the incident.

RADNOR, PA — Radnor Township Police said a man has been arrested and charged after they said he pulled a gun on two people who confronted him for stealing an electric scooter.

According to police, Samuel L. Jackson, 28, of Wayne, is charged with theft by unlawful taking of movable property, receiving stolen property, recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats, possession of an instrument of crime, simple assault, and firearms not to be carried without a license.

Jackson was taken into custody in connection with an assault that occurred at about 9 p.m. on Thursday on East Lancaster Avenue.

Police said Jackson is acccused of stealing an electric scooter on the 200 block of East Lancaster Avenue.

The victim and another person chased Jackson to the 400 block of East Lancaster Avenue, police said.

When they confronted Jackson, Jackson pulled out a handgun and threatened them, police said.

Jackson abandoned the scooter on that block a left the area on foot, police said.

Police were able to identify Jackson as the suspect and took him into custody Saturday at his residence.

Jackson was remanded to Delaware County Prison after failing to post 10 percent of $50,000 bail.
