August 14, 2013 - 7:30 P.M. - Rose Tree Park Summer Festival. Join the U.S. Army Field Band & Soldiers' Chorus as they tell the story of America's Army. Enjoy something for everyone - from show tunes to operatic gems to patriotic favorites, this grand performance will entertain the whole family. The Lions Club of Springfield has sponsored the U.S. Army Field Band & Soldiers' Chorus Concert, and the organization will have representatives onsite to collect used eyeglasses for the needy. The concert starts at 7:30 P.M. and it is FREE. [Please bring blankets and chairs for seating. Show will be canceled in the event of rain.]
