Avoid Lancaster Ave. Friday Afternoon, Saturday, Radnor Police Say

VILLANOVA, PA – Radnor Township Police are warning drivers that Lancaster Avenue traffic could be congested this weekend, as Villanova University's Commencement activities will likely hinder traffic.

According to police, commencement activities begin at noon Friday, May 19 and will end at 9 p.m., as well as Saturday, May 20 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Police said anyone not attending the activities should avoid Lancaster Avenue between Radnor Chester Road and Airedale Road at those times and dates as congestion is expected

Radnor Police will have additional officers staffing intersections to assist with the increased traffic volumes around Villanova University.
