Bear Roaming Delaware County: Police

UPPER DARBY, PA — A bear is roaming around Delaware County, according to police.

Upper Darby Police said a bear has been seen in the area of creek road.

The bear was also seen in the wooded areas of Lansdowne Borough and Clifton Heights that border Upper Darby Township, according to police.

Residents are urged to avoid these areas as game wardens handle the situation.

Anyone who sees a bear should not approach them, stay calm, and call 911, police said.
