Blaze Tears Through Bryn Mawr Home Tuesday Evening

Responders showed up to the home at about 5:30 p.m. to find fire in the home's attic and it was spreading quickly.

BRYN MAWR, PA – A fire broke out Tuesday afternoon in a Bryn Mawr home, and luckily no one was injured in the blaze.

The fire broke out at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10 at a home on the 600 block of Sproul Road in the Bryn Mawr section of Radnor Township.

Crews from the Bryn Mawr, Gladwyne, and Radnor fire companies responded to the scene to find fire in the home's attic and spreading through the home quickly, according to the Gladwyne Fire Company.

Responders had the fire under control by about 6:30 p.m.

The fire company said no civilians or firefighters were injured in the blaze.
