Bryn Mawr's Yangming Offering Chinese New Year Special Menu Jan. 26 to Feb. 25

Celebrate the Year of the Fire Rooster with one of the Main Line's favorite eateries.

Yangming in Bryn Mawr is inviting you to celebrate the Chinese New Year with a month-long celebration featuring a special Year of the Rooster banquet menu.

According to the Asian eatery, from Jan. 27 to Feb. 25, Yangming will feature a seven-course banquet menu to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

The celebration kicks off with a live Dragon Dance Friday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. Musicians and dancers will "bring a colorful dragon and two theatrical lions to life with authentic Chinese dances."

  • Grilled Honey-Facing Heaven Pepper Lamb Chop
  • Grand Marnier Mayo Jumbo Shrimp with Almond Slices
  • Firecracker Truffle Oil Shiitake & Vegetable Spring Roll

Taiwanese “Three Cup” Lobster and Day Boat Scallop

  • Fresh Maine lobster in Taiwanese “three cup” basil sauce scallop in spicy salt-pepper sauce, with bean thread noodles

Pan-Seared Miso-Sesame Striped Bass

  • With mashed edamame, pickled ginger, toasted black sesame seeds

Chu-Hou Roast Duck

  • Low-fat duck marinated with Chu-Hou marinade and hoisin, then roasted with kumquat, asparagus, red pepper, Chu-Hou and hoisin in duck emulsion
