The 4th of July Committee is once again inviting all children and families to decorate bikes and floats to ride in the parade.&nbsp;&nbsp;We hope to see your RED, WHITE, and BLUE.&nbsp; Registration is at Rosemont Business Campus at 9:30 am and Judging begins at 10 AM.
This year’s parade will begin&nbsp;at the Rosemont Business Campus and will follow the previously used route through our community, and then will end at Clem Macrone Park where there will be&nbsp;entertainment, refreshments, and games for the whole family following the Parade.&nbsp; Please see schedule for full details.

Are you, or do you know, 10-14 year olds who LOVE to read and need plans the first week of July?
Join as at Main Point Books for our first ever Book Camp! Bring your own books to read and spend the day reading, discussing your favorite books with other readers, crafts, and snacks. Free books, too, and a party on Friday!
Book Camp is Monday through Friday, 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm. The cost is $10/day or $40 for the week.

<h1>When the Declaration was News</h1>
Emily Sneff published her book, “When the Declaration of Independence was News,” for the 250th Anniversary of the United States. This talk, like her book, focuses on the nation’s founding document at the moment of its creation in 1776. She will explore how the Declaration was communicated to people in the new nation and around the Atlantic world and reveal the stories of the many people involved in the process of declaring independence, from printers to soldiers to diplomats to translators.
Emily Sneff is an early American historian and leading expert on the United States Declaration of Independence. She earned a doctorate in history from William &amp; Mary. She is a consulting curator and advisor for museum exhibitions and public programs marking the 250th anniversary of the Declaration in 2026.

Meet the Author
Sara Goodman Confino is the bestselling author of six novels: Don’t Forget to Write, Good Grief, Behind Every Good Man, She’s Up to No Good, For the Love of Friends, and Off the Record. After spending more years than she’s willing to publicly admit teaching high school English and journalism, she is currently writing full time and trying to make a living off of the crazy stories in her head. She lives in Montgomery County, Maryland with her husband, two sons, and two miniature schnauzers. When she’s not writing or frantically parenting, she can be found on the Peloton, at the beach, or at a Bruce Springsteen concert, sometimes even dancing onstage.
