Campus Celebration Planned Today At Villanova
A celebration to welcome the Wildcats home after their big win is planned this afternoon on Villanova's campus.
Villanova University will welcome home the national champion men's basketball team at a celebration on campus this afternoon.
The team is expected to arrive back on campus shortly before 5 p.m. The celebration to welcome them back begins at 5 p.m., doors open at 3:30 p.m.
The celebration will be held at Villanova Stadium.

Classes at Villanova were cancelled Tuesday due to the big win.
Villanova took down the University of North Carolina for the NCAA Championship by a final score of 77-74, thanks to an incredible buzzer beating three-pointer from Kris Jenkins.

The win is the first NCAA Championship for Villanova since 1985, and their second in school history.
With just four seconds remaining and the game tied at 74-74, Villanova's Daniel Ochefu sent an in-bound pass to Ryan Arcidiacano, who sent a pass to Jenkins, who ripped off the game winning shot as the buzzer sounded.
