Car Burglars Scared Off By Wayne Homeowner Tuesday: Police

Just days before, an unlocked vehicle in Wayne was entered and had money stolen from inside it. Residents should lock vehicles at all times.

WAYNE, PA – Just a few days after an unlocked vehicle in Wayne was broken into and had money stolen from it, another theft from a vehicle incident occurred in Wayne. But the homeowner caught the suspects in the act, effectively putting an end to their attempted thefts.

According to Radnor Township Police, two people were seen inside a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home on the 100 block of Conestoga Road in the Wayne section of Radnor early Tuesday, Feb. 20.

However, the homeowner scared the suspects off, according to police.

Police said residents and visitors in the township should lock their vehicles at all times.

Police urge the public to call 911 if they see suspicions persons, vehicles, or activity.
