Care of Creation as a Work of Mercy - Lecture by Cardinal Peter Turkson

Villanova University is honored to be hosting Cardinal Peter Turkson, President of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace. Cardinal Turkson was instrumental in preparing the first draft of “Laudato Si” for Pope Francis, prior to the official promulgation of the encyclical. He will speak about the significance of this landmark document in the life of the church and beyond.

Cardinal Turkson’s lecture will take place Thursday, February 25 at 7:30 pm at St. Thomas of Villanova Church, located at 800 E. Lancaster Avenue, Villanova, PA 19085.
