Please join members of the AME Community & Friends for a wreath laying ceremony to celebrate the 260th birthday of Bishop Richard Allen, founder of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, at Bishop Richard Allen Park next Friday, Feb. 14 at 11:30 a.m.

Reverend Carolyn Cavaness, Pastor of the Bethel AME Church of Ardmore, and Reverend Dr. Charles Lett Sr., Presiding Elder West Main Line District of the AME Church, will be in attendance among other community members. After the celebration of the life and legacy of Bishop Allen, the group will commemorate his historic walk to Radnor in 1784.
