Cell Tower Ban Stricken Down By Radnor Commissioners

The commissioners voted 4-3 to strike down a resolution that would prevent cell towers from being installed in Radnor parks.

WAYNE, PA – Your neighborhood park could be home to a new cell tower in the future, as the Radnor Board of Commissioners voted on a resolution that removed the ban on installing cell towers in Radnor parks.

Were the resolution passed, it would ban the towers, but was stricken down 4-3 at Monday's board meeting.

Commissioner Don Curley introduced the resolution, saying it's illegal to install towers in parks and that parks should not be commercialized.
