Chemical Leak At Wawa Plant Prompts Hazmat Response: Reports

An acid spill at a Wawa dairy plant early Monday led to hazmat teams responding to the Delaware County plant, according to reports.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA – A hazmat team was on scene at a Wawa dairy plant in Delaware County Monday morning after chemicals spilled at the plant, according to reports.

Action News reports crews were called to the plant in Middletown Township at about 2:45 a.m. for an acid spill in the back of the building.

No one was hurt as a result of the spill, according to CBS Philadelphia
