Clem Macrone Park Reopening Next Month

The grand reopening will end with a fireworks display that you won't want to miss.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA – Clem Macrone Park is reopening after being closed for months to accommodate renovation work and you are invited to celebrate the reopening.

The grand reopening will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 9 at the park.

Activities include a bounce house, music, and fireworks.

Activities begin at 5 p.m. and the grand opening ceremony will be held at 6 p.m.

Crowds will be entertained by music featuring Ward 7 Commissioner Phil Ahr and former Ward 7 Commissioner John Fisher from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

The fireworks display is set to begin at 8 p.m.

In the event of inclement weather, the grand reopening will be held Sunday, Sept. 10.

The project comes to a close after years of work and development.

Ground broke on the renovations in July 2016 and the park closed in November 2016 as construction continued, but the project has been underway since 2014.
