Commissioner Phil Ahr Under Investigation: Radnor Township

The investigation is spearheaded by Delaware County's Criminal Investigation Division. Radnor Police are not involved, the township said.

RADNOR, PA – Just a few months after a former Radnor Township commissioner was found guilty in a fondling case, another township commissioner is being investigated according to the to township.

Board of Commissioners President Phil Arh is under investigation by the Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division, according to the township.

Radnor Police or staff are not involved in the investigation, the township said.

Ahr, 66, who was elected as the board president in July, serves Ward 7 in the township and is a Democrat.

Philly.com reports Radnor Police confirmed a search warrant was executed at Ahr's residence, but police did not now what the warrant entailed as the county is handling the investigation.

It's not clear what launched the investigation.

Just recently, former Radnor Township Commissioner William Spingler was found guilty of indecent assault in June.
