Subject: SEPTA Tree Removal through Emlen Tunnell Park
When: Saturday and Sunday, June 6th and 7th, 2020, Daylight Hours

Why: SEPTA, in partnership with PECO and with consent from Radnor Township, will remove a tree that threatens electric distribution lines and inhibits scheduled maintenance on the Norristown High Speed Line. Access through Emlen Tunnell Park is necessary to complete the project.
What to expect: This tree removal project requires the use of a crane, wood chipper, bucket and log-hauling trucks. The work will be done during daylight hours and will be noisy. Portions of the park in the vicinity of the comfort station may be temporarily inaccessible while project trucks are moving through the park. The township anticipates keeping the park open during the project.
